ElectraMate – Terms and Conditions


MAKING PURCHASES

To place an order, simply browse our online catalogue and add the desired products to your shopping basket. You’ll be asked to provide relevant details to complete your purchase.

Please ensure that you measure your available installation space, including allowance for plumbing and connection requirements, before ordering.

ElectraMate reserves the right to decline any order at its discretion.


PAYMENT

We accept Visa, Switch, Delta, Solo, and Mastercard. Unfortunately, we do not accept American Express.


DELIVERY OF GOODS

ElectraMate cannot be held responsible for any consequential loss arising from delivery delays or failed deliveries.

Please do not book tradespeople until your order has arrived and been thoroughly checked. We cannot accept liability for any associated labour costs or loss of time.

All deliveries must be inspected upon arrival. Shortages or damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Claims submitted after this period cannot be accepted.

Hot water cylinders are delivered via pallet courier to kerbside only (or to a garage/carport at ground level). Couriers will not deliver into homes or apartments. You are responsible for moving the item indoors. Many cylinders require a two-person lift. Goods must be signed for on delivery.


DELIVERY SCHEDULE

In-stock items are typically dispatched within 2–3 working days. If dispatch is delayed, please allow up to 5 working days. For non-stock items, delivery times vary. If your item is unavailable, we will contact you with an estimated delivery date. You may cancel the order at that point if you prefer not to wait.


SHIPPING & HANDLING

All mainland Great Britain orders include delivery. Offshore islands may incur an additional carriage charge.

DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receiving your goods and receive a refund within 30 days of cancellation.

Return carriage is the customer’s responsibility. We can arrange collection and deduct the return cost from your refund.

Returned items must be in their original condition and packaging. If possible, retain the original pallet. Photographic evidence prior to return is advised.


GUARANTEE

  • Unvented Cylinders & Stainless Steel Buffers: 25 Years

  • Thermal Stores: 10 Years

  • Mild Steel Buffers: 2 Years

  • Components (including Plug N Glow & eGlow boilers): 2 Years

  • Willis Heaters: 1 Year

  • Thermal Stores before April 2015: 5 Years

Guarantee Exemptions:

  1. Unauthorised modifications or repairs.

  2. Installation with non-potable or untreated water supplies.

  3. Limescale damage in hard water areas (>200ppm) without treatment.

  4. Faulty installation practices.

  5. Chloride levels >200ppm or combined scale/chloride >300ppm.

  6. Products left unused with standing water for more than 2 months.
